This is a Java Desktop Application.
To run this software you need a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Developemnt Kit (JDK).
Be careful, the Java Runtime environment is case sensitve.

A small framework written in java to uncompile a PQA (Creator: cpl; Type: pqa ) for the Palm.

Use Pilo-xfer or other tools to export the database from your palm to the platform you prefer. It runs with Java 1.1 or better.

Syntax using a JDK:
If you have just installed the runtime environment:

Be careful, the Java Runtime environment is case sensitve.
In the file path_TXTFileName will be the information about the pqa and each record like size, content, compressionType.
Each HTML content will be written to a single file .HTML, each included image will be written to a BMP file (quality and size is reduced).
GIF's included in the PQA will be written to bmp files. Color is reduced to b/w. The scale of the images are not the same as they are in the PQA. You will be not able to regenerate a pqa from it with the same images like the original PQA.

Decompiling of a PQA may violate copyright laws !!

Tested on Palm OS 3.3, 3.4, 4.0 and 5.0.

Any distribution of that Software via CD-ROM, Internet or other media without the permission of the author is not allowed.

This software can be used free of charge, except for commercial use. Please refer to the licence agreement for further details. Conatct the author if you have any further questions.

These applications are distributed as archives files. To extract the original files from an archive, you can use WinZip (.zip) for Windows or StuffIt Expander (.sit) for Macs.
